Massage Geeks Policies

Our Commitment to You

Massage Geeks is committed to helping you find relaxation, ease pain, and achieve wellness. We assess your muscular tissue, provide excellent massage therapy and recommend wellness practices such as stretching, movement, and self-care. We assess - we do not diagnose - and refer any medical questions to the proper medical channel. Consider us your partner in wellness.


As your partner, we have developed some business practices that support you and us.

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the immediate conclusion of service. Pre-payment is welcome, too. Massage Geeks accepts cash, credit card, FSA & HSA cards (contact your benefits provider for more information), and personal checks. There is a $35 fee for returned checks.

Massage Geeks does not accept insurance directly, except for FSA & HSA cards. We are happy to provide detailed receipts and statements upon request.

Failure to remit payment will prevent you from making future appointments.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy


Massage Geeks permits cancellations, rescheduling, and changes to appointments up to 24 hours in advance. Requests to cancel, reschedule, or change your appointment received with 24 hours or less notice will incur a $25 fee. 


No-shows will be charged the full appointment amount.


Life happens. Schedules and demands on our time shift. Whether illness, injury, a family emergency, an unexpected work commitment - life gets in the way of our best intentions. We understand.

We ask your consideration of the impact cancellations, rescheduling, and changes has on your massage therapist. When you make a massage appointment, we set aside that time for you and your care.  If we are not able to fill that appointment time, we are not paid. This has deleterious effects on our ability to remain in business and to provide you the quality massage therapy you have come to expect from us. 

We have instituted the following policies in addition to the 24-hour policy:

  • If you have rescheduled or cancelled two or more appointments within 3 days of an appointment during the course of a 6 month period, you may be required to pay a $25 nonrefundable deposit when booking future appointments. The deposit will be applied to the final cost of your massage. 

  • Rescheduling/changing an appointment will incur the loss of any booking discount. The regular massage service rate will apply.

  • Massage Geeks reserves the right to no longer provide service due to an egregious pattern of appointment changes and/or cancellations.

We will try to make every attempt to work with you. Of course, there are always exceptions and emergencies that require special attention. Please don't hesitate to e-mail us or call/text us at 470-599-0899.

Therapist Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

Life happens to your massage therapist, too. In the rare instance that your therapist needs to reschedule or cancel your appointment, Massage Geeks offers you the following guarantees:

  • You will be contacted as soon as the change is required. Communication will occur via e-mail, text, and/or phone. Whenever possible, multiple communication channels will be used.

  • If a change is made with 3 or fewer days of notice before your appointment, Massage Geeks will offer you a 30 minute gift certificate. 

  • If the therapist begins the appointment 15 or more minutes past your appointment time, Massage Geeks will offer you a 30 minute gift certificate.

We will always try to rebook you to the earliest available appointment time.
